• Respect that taste is subjective - others may have different opinions

Adding Cigars to Database

• Search first to avoid duplicates
• Provide accurate information (brand, name, size, strength)
• Include reliable sources when possible
• Don't create entries for cigars you haven't personally verified exist

Social Interactions

• Engage in friendly discussion and debate
• Provide constructive criticism respectfully
• Welcome newcomers to the community
• Share knowledge and recommendations generously

Prohibited Behavior

Fake or Fraudulent Content

• No fake reviews: Don't rate cigars you haven't smoked
• No astroturfing: Don't artificially inflate or deflate ratings
• No paid reviews: Don't accept compensation for positive ratings without disclosure
• No review bombing: Don't coordinate mass negative ratings
• No multiple accounts: Don't create additional accounts to manipulate ratings

Harassment and Abuse

• No personal attacks or insults
• No bullying or intimidation
• No doxxing or sharing personal information without consent
• No sexual harassment or unwanted advances

Spam and Manipulation

• No spam, advertising, or self-promotion unrelated to cigars
• No affiliate links or commercial solicitation
• No automated posting or bot activity
• No vote manipulation or coordinated activity

Illegal Activity

• No facilitating tobacco sales or trades
• No sharing methods to circumvent age restrictions
• No promotion of counterfeit or illegal products
• No copyright infringement

Content Moderation

Reporting System

Users can flag content that violates these guidelines using our built-in flagging system. Common reasons include:

• Duplicate cigar entries
• Fake or incorrect information
• Inappropriate content
• Spam or abuse

Admin Actions

Our administrators may:

• Review flagged content
• Edit or remove inappropriate content
• Merge duplicate cigar entries
• Issue warnings to users
